Indo–Taiwan Industrial Park to Come Up in Sanand-Dholera Region — What It Means for Investors
April 10, 2026
In a landmark move for Gujarat's industrial future, the Gujarat government signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Taiwan-based Allegiance International Company Limited to develop an Indo-Taiwan Industrial Park in the Sanand-Dholera region and the numbers are hard to ignore.
What Was Signed?
The MoU was signed between the state's Department of Science and Technology and Allegiance International, in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Science & Technology Minister Arjun Modhwadia. Simon Lee, Vice President of the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in India and Chairman of Allegiance Group, signed on behalf of the Taiwanese side.
What Will the Industrial Park Focus On?
The project aims to boost manufacturing in key sectors such as semiconductors, electronics, electric vehicles, robotics, and related supply chains targeted Dholera Smart City. This aligns directly with India's national semiconductor push and Gujarat's ambition to become the country's chip manufacturing capital.
The Numbers That Matter
The proposed industrial park is expected to attract over ₹1,000 crore in foreign direct investment from Taiwanese industries and generate around 12,000 direct jobs over the next five years. Gujarat already has semiconductor and allied projects worth over ₹1.24 lakh crore currently under development in the state.
Why Dholera?
The Sanand-Dholera corridor is no accident of geography. It sits at the heart of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, with upcoming international airport connectivity, 6-lane expressway access, and a fully planned smart city ecosystem already in place. For Taiwanese firms seeking a stable, infrastructure-rich base to expand into India, this region checks every box.
What This Means for Plot Investors
Every major industrial announcement in and around Dholera has historically pushed land values higher. An Indo-Taiwan Industrial Park — covering semiconductors, EVs, and robotics — signals sustained, long-term demand for residential and commercial real estate in the region. If you have been waiting for the right moment to invest in Dholera plots, that moment keeps getting shorter.
The Dholera story is no longer a promise. It is in motion.
